Grand Hall Has Made It’s Mark With Members Mark

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

A supplier and gas product innovator for over thirty years, Grand Hall has lead the way with vertically integrated grills manufactured around the world. Grand Hall is the designer and manufacturer of the Sam’s Club premier grill offering, Members Mark Grills.

Member’s Mark starts strong on the low end with a grill that may only have 3 main burners at 18,000 BTUs, but you have to factor in the infrared 10,000 BTU back burner and the 12,000 BTU side burners. That’s some BTUs. Because of the cast iron burners, you’ll have to take care of them. That means cleaning them with a wire brush once in awhile and keeping them dry as well. At the low end, you’re not getting the rust resistant stainless steel burners.

The Member’s Mark 32″ Gas Grill with Sear Burner is 95% pre assembled equipped with four main burners, infrared sear burner, rotisserie burner, and side burner. There’s even a UV resistant cover and the 10-watt halogen light that is built into the firebox makes this model great for daytime and nighttime grilling. The fuel for the 32″ grill is liquid propane gas and has a main cooking area of 640 square inches. There’s a secondary area that covers 208 square inches. Reviews on this product dictate five out of five stars for quality and value. Consumers claim that the grill is well-built and loaded with features, making it a dream to work with.

Ed Fisher, of Atlanta, Georgia, hatched the idea for this unique Egg-like cooker design back in 1974. He got the idea from the ancient oriental ceramic cookers called Kamado. Big Green Egg (BGE) is the largest product of this type of grill in the world. It’s the fastest growing cooker category in the United States, but they also sell in 20 other countries. The five different sizes and assortment of 100 available accessories make for numerous unique combinations for consumers.

A lot of the marketing for EGG is done by word of mouth, as more and more people become acquainted with the concept and are more than thrilled with the food the Big Green Egg grills produce. Television, radio, and print media have all been turned onto the Big Green Egg grills through such mediums as The Today Show, The View, HGTV Landscape Smart, and RVFN Barbecuing with Bobby Flay. Dr. BBQ, chef and champion barbecue champion travels from competition to competition using the EGG grill.

George Foreman Knocks Out The Fat

Monday, September 15th, 2008

The debate rages on about barbecue, some believing the ingredients determine the flavor and others totally disagreeing. Sure, the ingredients are important, but the way you use them is really what what makes good barbecue.

If you really want to impress barbecue fanatics, you’ll need a lot of experience experimenting with your approach to barbecue.

Sometimes you’re just not able to use your outdoor grill. One factor that can cause this is weather. Nobody wants to stand in the rain and grill steaks and the northern winters make it hard to keep the grill at the right temperature. But luckily there are a few options. One such appliance that makes grilling possible no matter what the weather happens to be is the George Foreman Grill.

Throw Some Shrimp On The Bar-B – Aussie Grills

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

As with many grill companies, Aussie Grills were born from a metal fabrication shop that started operation in 1959. Metal Engineering Corporation (MECO), the shop in question, began making charcoal and electric grills in 1999. With their headquarters in Greeneville, Tenn., they’ve quickly become known in the market for their level of expertise in water smoker grills, as well as electric and charcoal grills.

When you are searching for that perfect grill, have a few things in mind as you go shopping:

* Where will the grill be used?

* What type of fuel do I feel inclined to use?

* Is space going to be an issue?

* Do you want it to look like everyone elses’s grill, or do you want something unique?

* What’s your budget?

* Do I just need a grill, or a grill with bells and whistles?

* Try to find a grill that lasts 10 years instead of 3 years

* The importance of BTU’s is overrated, evaluate the complete package.
